She rose, in the midst of tumult
So powerful, yet so beautiful
With each step creating hope,
paving a new way. She pressed on, through any and all obstacles
making change
educating herself and others
uniting the community
strengthening women everywhere.
30 years she has striven --
and she's still going strong.
She's the Lambda Lady.
That Lady in Burgundy and Grey.
So when you see her, remember what she's done for you, and you, and you. For it was her path and her strength that gave hope to all of us.

DREAM

Dream as though there was no tomorrow
Dream as though tomorrow wouldn’t come
Dream as you live life
Dream for it empowers our mind to go on
Dream for every second dreamnt is worth it all
Dream and never stop dreaming
Dream for dreaming are no wishes
Dream to overlook what we want and why we want it
Dream for it fertilizes our minds to work harder
Dream for it would lead us to achieve our goals
Dream for dreaming is never ending!

Inner Strength

The strength of oneself is the strength of it all
Sometimes we seek strength in others when we seem to fall
When we feel frustrated crushed under a ball
When the point of achievement and obstacles seem so tall
When our head up high comes so low to crawl
When our disappointments have dried us up and slapped us against the wall…….
Is our INNER STRENGHT that will conquer it all.
