National Lambda Networking Event

National Headquarters, NJ – The National Board of Directors of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. in conjunction with the National Board of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. hosted the National Lambda Networking Business Card Exchange/Social on Saturday, December 20, 2003. The event was catered towards bringing forth networking opportunities for both organizations' members as well as the public at large. The event was hosted at The Stealth lounge/restaurant/ nightclub in Hackensack, New Jersey and was followed by music and dancing following the business card exchange.

Lambda Theta Alpha and Lambda Theta Phi will also be donating a portion of the total proceeds from the event to the National Hispanic Scholarship Fund, thus furthering our goals of empowering our communities' minority youth and educational advancement opportunities for Latinos.

Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. is a philanthropic-based Greek letter organization whose mission includes the fostering of academic excellence and promotion of community activism in all arenas, as well as the sponsorship of cultural and educational programs. As the first Latin Sorority in the nation established in 1975, Lambda Theta Alpha begins its 29th year and reflects with great pride on the numerous accomplishments the organization has achieved since its inception. Together as women, as leaders, activists, mothers, wives, students and professionals, Lambda Theta Alpha grows stronger as universal women.
