National Headquarters, NJ — Throughout the NALFO/Latinogreeks.com annual awards this year, Lambda Theta Alpha was graciously awarded several prestigious awards. On behalf of the national organization, a sincere congratulation is extended to this year's Lambda Theta Alpha winners: Lisa Garces (Academic Excellence- Graduate), Chi Chapter at the University of Florida (Undergraduate Chapter of the Year) and National's (Outstanding Web Presence).

Closing in on our 28th year of existence, Lambda Theta Alpha stands proud of our numerous accomplishments and advancements every year, and continues to look forward to attaining many other accomplishments and opportunities to empower our sisters, women, minorities and our communities at large.

Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. is a philanthropic-based Greek letter organization whose mission includes the fostering of academic excellence and promotion of community activism in all arenas, as well as the sponsorship of cultural and educational programs. As the first Latin Sorority in the nation established in 1975, Lambda Theta Alpha closes in on its 28th year and reflects with great pride on the numerous accomplishments the organization has achieved since its inception.
