LatinoGreeks.com
and NALFO launched the 1st Annual Latino Greek Awards Gala at the NALFO
Dallas Convention this spring. The brainchild of Juan Aguilar, a member of
Lambda Theta Phi and President of LatinoGreeks.com, the Gala was the first
time that members of Latino fraternities and sororities were recognized on a
national stage by their own peers.
Latino
fraternities and sororities submitted nominations to a panel of alumni and
undergraduate Latino Greeks, who reviewed them and chose the winner. All
Latino fraternities and sororities were eligible to participate. The
nominees and award winners represent the best qualities of Latino Greek
life. The award categories covered a variety of areas including academic
excellence, educational, social and community programming, professionalism,
web presence, and overall organization of the year. Congratulations to all
this year's winners and nominees.
